MitaCell uses a patented technology that optimizes the use of something called Micelles which are self-assembled structures that form when certain types of molecules, known as surfactants, are mixed with water. Surfactants are molecules that have both hydrophobic (water-repelling) and hydrophil (water-attracting) regions. When surfactant molecules are added to water, they tend to aggregate together in a way that minimizes their exposure to water.
